*A story from Tadikistan*
*NAHUDAK, A PEA-SIZED BOY*
*Once upon a time, there were a husband and a wife who didn’t have any children. They wished to have one but couldn’t have. One day, there was a man who knocked their door. They treated the man very well. When he left, he wished their wish would come true. Then It came true that the wife gave birth to a baby boy. Day by day, the boy grew up but just had a pea size. His parents still loved him very much. The boy usually helped his parents with their works. One day, after helping his father from the field, he came back home and met a wolf which seized him but could not swallow him and the pea boy got stuck between its teeth. Consecutively several times, the boy helped some farmers who had livestock away from the wolf which wanted to eat them. The wolf was very tired and hungry just wished to spit the boy out of its mouth. Then it succeeded but the boy was spitted into a deep pit. The man who had visited the house of his parents before and wished their wish came true was near by and saved the boy. The boy returned home. His parents were very happy then made a feast to treat the whole village. Everybody was happy for them.*
