*How Khosi chose a wife*

*Once upon a time, there was a great chief who loved his only wife so much. Even after a long time, they didn’t have any children, but he didn’t want to get married to others. Finally, they gave birth to a baby girl. They loved her so much that they hid her in a skin of crocodile so no one could see her beauty and hurt her. In other village, one of the son of the chief there named Khosi reached the age of finding a wife. He requested to collect all the maidens around to choose to be his wife. The custom was all the maidens after being collected would bath in a pool at the village. And the beloved daughter of the chief also joined the event. Khosi hid somewhere to watch all of the maidens. When the daughter of the chief took off the crocodile skin to bath in the pool, she was so beautiful that Khosi was determined to get married to her. After the custom, all the maidens were collected to let Khosi choose. He chose the daughter of the chief. His mother was very afraid because of her crocodile look. She told his son her fear, he explained to her. She said she just agreed when she saw the beauty of the girl. He persuaded the daughter of the chief to take off the crocodile skin to let his mother see her beauty. After that they got married.*
