*Fairy tales from Kuwait: The Hattáb (woodcutter) and the Khaznah (treasure)*
*Once upon a time, there was a woodcutter who had a family and a donkey for his living. One Friday, he heard the preacher in the mosque talking about faith. If a man had enough faith, good things would come to him, he didn’t need to do anything. He went home and did nothing just to have faith. His wife was worried. One day, two men asked them to hire the donkey for he didn’t use it to work with an amount of money. His wife was still skeptical but she was happy and used the money to buy things for the family. The two men found a treasure a box of full gold, they put the box on the donkey back. On the way to their home, one man killed the other then was poisoned to death by the killed man. The donkey found the way to get back to the house of the woodcutter. The woodcutter and his wife were very happy, hid the treasure and lived a very comfortable life without working.*
*This story is strange. Working and creating things is a good thing. But I still told this story. To explain things for this story, maybe we should put it in a context. Hihi.*
