*In search of magic lake*
*Five hundred years ago, there lived a poor farmer family. They have two sons and one daughter named Ampata. The people of the country learned that the prince of the country was not well since he was born. One day, his sickness became worsened. The court magician of the country told the King that just only the water from the magic lake at the end of the Earth could treat his sickness.*
*The brothers of Ampata set off to find the magic lake with the hope that they could help the Royal family. After many days passed, they didn’t find the magic lake but it’s time they had to come back home to help their family with the farming. They took the water from a lake which was very far from their country with the hope that it would be the water from the magic lake and came back home. When they submited the water to the King, because it’s not from the magic lake therefore it didn’t cure the Prince’s sickness. The two brothers were put in prison for their lie about the water. With the wish of helping her two brothers, Ampata set off to find the magic lake. At the second night of the journey, to hide from a panther, Ampata climbed to a tree and spent a night there. The next morning, she met a pair of scarlet macaws. She treated them with some toasted corn and nuts. Listening to her story, they helped her by giving her three feathers and told her to use them as a fan. This fan could carry her to wherever she wished. She wished to come to the magic lake. The fan brought her there. When she got there, consecutively she met a giant snake, a huge red scorpion, a warm of ferocious army ants, she was all protected by the fan. She took the water from the magic lake and went home. After submitting the water to cure the prince’s sickness, she wished to return the leathers to the macaws. The leather fan found the way to fly back to their owners. The King released her two brothers and wanted her to be his family’s member, she refused and just wished he could help her family out of the poor situation. The King made her wish came true and told her to visit his family often. Later, she became the prince’s closest friend. From a friendship, it became a love. The prince got married to her and the wish of the King came true.*
